SOFTSWISS has integrated prediction markets into its sportsbook platform using a fixed-odds model, the company announced, as research shows the sector has experienced rapid growth.

Trading volume surge

SOFTSWISS research shows that monthly prediction market trading volume grew around 393-fold, from $32m in January 2024 to $12.6bn in January 2026.

Fixed-odds approach

The supplier has chosen a fixed-odds model for event betting in prediction markets, where the operator sets the price and manages the risk. “The operator sets the price and manages the risk, while players get a familiar, straightforward way to back a yes-or-no outcome,” SOFTSWISS said.

SOFTSWISS is building prediction markets on existing sportsbook infrastructure so partners can test demand for new event categories with fewer additional resources. Partners can also check that each event is permitted under local rules, the company said.

Mobile layout redesign

The SOFTSWISS Sportsbook has released a redesigned mobile layout. Across SOFTSWISS Sportsbook operators, mobile devices account for 94% of gross gaming revenue and 89% of turnover.

The redesigned mobile layout includes horizontal carousels that bring live events, pre-match events and top leagues into view with less scrolling.

Operators can activate the new layout, choose what appears in each section and adjust the carousels through the CMS, without additional development work.
