Shares of High Roller Technologies rose over 13% on Wednesday following the launch of its real-money prediction market platform in the United States.

Platform launch and partnership

The company launched its ROLR prediction market platform in partnership with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). Following an invitation-only beta test that began Sept. 15, ROLR is now live for eligible U.S. users via desktop and mobile web browsers, the company said.

Dedicated iOS and Android apps for ROLR are expected to follow subject to app store approvals.

“Today’s full commercial launch of our prediction markets platform is a defining milestone for High Roller as we bring ROLR to the public and begin the next phase of our growth,” said High Roller CEO Seth Young.

Revenue expectations and regulatory structure

High Roller, a Las Vegas-based iGaming operator that is transitioning to event contracts, said it expects ROLR to generate revenue in the current quarter, though it did not disclose a specific forecast tied to the platform.

In the second quarter, High Roller reported a loss of 22 cents per share on revenue of $2.81 million.

High Roller’s wholly owned subsidiary, ROLR US LLC, is a member of the National Futures Association and a registered guaranteed introducing broker operating under a guarantee agreement with OG Markets US, Inc. Customer accounts introduced through ROLR are carried by Crypto.com FCM; ROLR US LLC does not hold customer funds.
